There is a possibility for any FullTiltPoker.com player to join in the FTOPS, by earning as many satellite wins as they are able to do. The satellite Texas Hold em games are being played at the moment, and are open for members of Full Tilt Poker.
The FTOPS tournament launched in 2006 and it had 8 events and a $1 million prize pool. Now, the tournament has become enormous, with the previous year’s tourney hosting 25 Texas Hold em events and giving away over $15 million. Next month’s tournament will present a Two-Day Event which will have buy-ins of $2500 to $5000. The first ever Two-Day Event was FTOPS V, that year’s FTOPS had a winner take home a prize pool of $400,000. November’s Two-Day event has a assured pot of around $2 million. This event will launch on the 15th of November.
