FullTiltPoker.com unveils new “Durrrr Challenge” Info page

Posted under Poker & online poker & poker celebrities & poker rooms & poker tournament & professional poker

FullTiltPoker.com has just launched a brand new informative site covering all the action of the “Durrrr Challenge”, an incredible online heads up tournament involving some of the finest big money poker players taking on the Heads Up Specialist Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

The new website section gives poker players and followers the chance to stay on top of this historical online poker challenge and check out timely updates. With this innovative “durrrr heads up Challenge” portal fans can track all the details and look at each poker hand played during this poker challenge, and look at lots of stats, including how many hands were played, time of session, cash won, average won during each hand and lots more.

Close to six months ago, the 23 year old online poker phenomenon dealt out a heads-up poker challenge for any poker player with the cash, time and talent to accept it. Any player entering the poker challenge has to bet $500,000 against durrrr’s $1.5 million. Dwan’s challenge states that at least 50,000 hands need to be played simultaneously at 4 or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the poker challenge, the poker player who has more cash will secure the pool. Basically if you enter the Full Tilt Challenge and win a dollar after the 50,000 hands, then you will take home durrrr’s $1.5 Million, but if he succeeds by a dollar then he will take your $500,000.

So far, several poker players have accepted to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, but, only Patrick Antonius has accepted the challenge. Thus far, both poker players have completed in a total of 20,647 poker hands out of 50,000, with Tom durrrr Dwan ahead $726,546 total.

Online Texas Hold’em Poker Special Investigation Show will be shown on TV

Posted under Poker & poker chips & poker rooms

60 minutes
This Sunday, November 30th the CBS network will show their special program “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This investigation special was created after a sixteen week study into the online Texas Hold’em poker industry and particularly a scandal in relation to the online poker website Absolute Poker.

This Texas Hold’em poker webpage was studied after some of the Texas Hold’em poker players on the webpage stated that some person was unlawfully winning an incredible amount of poker hands. Todd Witteles was a major witness in this inquiry, according to Witteles; he was losing huge amounts of money to the exact same Texas Hold’em poker player. Witteles declared that this poker player was raising against awfully good cards, most players would have assumed he was simply giving his money to the other players, but he was incredibly earning tons of chips.

Witteles was pretty accurate with his assumptions, it was later discovered that a poker player who knew about the site was able to view any player’s poker hole cards. With the first look, Absolute Poker proclaimed that there were no issues with the website or the Texas Hold’em competitor. After a great deal of players presented the site with charges of fraud, the Texas Hold’em webpage looked deeper into the cheating problem and made the discovery.

By Jan. of this year, the KGC exposed what the Texas Hold’em poker competitors and the Texas Hold’em poker website had suspected all the time. It turned out that, there was an employee who had attacked the poker room’s security and was competing unlawfully for around a month and a half. The inquiry showed that the poker site had not benefited from the illegal transactions in any way, and was positively not implicated.

These situations are further evidence that there must be more laws regarding online Texas hold’em websites. The U.S. government should authorize and legalize the online Texas Hold’em poker industry to defend these decent customers. These guidelines would also regulate the entry to these websites by kids, which is turning into another fear nowadays.

Problem Gamblers Become Issue for Online Poker Rooms and Casinos

Posted under Poker & online poker & poker rooms

While it is certainly enjoyable and entertaining to spend time in online poker rooms and casinos such as Fulltiltpoker.com, there are issues that go beyond the casual playing of these types of poker rooms and casinos that, for some people, are simply impossible to overcome. In the case of problem gamblers, those who cannot stop gambling, even when losing nonstop and having no chance of winning, these types of institutions are the worst possible thing that can happen to them. By making it so easy to participate in these types of gaming and gambling institutions on the web, these types of online poker rooms and casinos can be very difficult for the player to resist who has difficulty turning off the gambling switch. For those players who don’t know when to say no, the online poker rooms are a flame, drawing the moth to its inevitable doom. Unfortunately, the fail safes that exist in off-line, traditional brick and mortar establishments in areas such as Las Vegas do not exist in the online world, making it impossible for establishment proprietors, staff of the website or employees to identify problem gamblers and get help for those who cannot help themselves. With this effort to identify these types of problem gamblers in the real world at traditional brick and mortar gambling establishments, the problem can be often headed off before it comes to a severe problem for the gambler.

With the focus of the United States government on regulating and taxing online poker rooms and casinos in the future, there may be some small chance of providing these problem gamblers with relief, or at least a way to detect the difficulties that they have an reining in their spending habits. By providing methods of identifying gamblers who cannot stop gambling and cause problems for themselves of a financial nature, the new regulations, whatever form they might take, could be an extremely effective method of helping these problem gamblers before disaster strikes and the problem devolves into an impossible situation to deal with. While the concept of regulating and taxing any online poker room and casinos might not be very popular with players and poker room enthusiasts, it will certainly provide a strong and effective method of preventing problem gamblers from gambling their way into financial devastation. By providing this essential method of protecting players and gamblers on the Internet, the online poker rooms and casinos can effectively eliminate the chances of problem gamblers going overboard and causing themselves no end of financial hardship and grief.

William Hill Poker-Strong Poker Bonus and Action despite Lack of Rakeback Sharing

Posted under Poker & internet poker & online poker & poker rakeback & poker rooms

In most instances, it is fairly common for websites and online poker rooms and casinos on the Internet to offer a rakeback sharing affiliate program that allows the player to participate and share in a portion of the rakeback that is collected from every hand that they play. But in the case of the William Hill Poker website and online Casino, there is no such rakeback sharing affiliate program available, bucking the trend and providing one less promotional offer as an incentive for players to participate and compete in the online poker room and casino on a consistent basis. While other promotions, such as the 100% poker deposit bonus matching up to $500 are relatively competitive with other online poker rooms and casinos on the Internet, the lack of a rakeback sharing affiliate program is less than good news for players who depend on this type of program for sustained earnings, as quite often players who find themselves on a losing streak can eventually come back around with a little help from the residual income that is presented to them through the rakeback sharing affiliate program.

Despite the lack of a rakeback sharing affiliate program, the William Hill poker room does a brisk amount of business on the Internet, drawing in players from all around the world and the international community to the online poker room and casino to compete against the tremendous amounts of new action that is constantly coming in to the online poker room and casino in a steady stream from all around the world. With the tremendous amount of rabidly loyal players and patrons that the William Hill poker room and casino on the Internet experiences due to its tremendous popularity and extremely personalized touch, the William Hill poker room has the enviable position of being able to provide a strong level of action on the web for its legion of dedicated players. With the ability to provide new action, it is a simple enough matter to keep players steadily playing in the William Hill online poker room and casino on the Internet.

With the strong poker bonus that the William Hill poker room online casino offers, 100% matching of the poker bonus deposit up to $500, there is good reason to join up, but the lack of a rakeback sharing affiliate program, so common as to be almost mandatory in this day and age, really hurts the presence of the William Hill poker room and casino despite the strong level of action at the poker tables.
